We are currently looking for a:
Specialist, E-Commerce
Reporting to the Manager, E-Commerce, the Specialist, E-Commerce, has a well-rounded knowledge of how to drive the operations of the business, from a content and merchandising perspective, as the main support to the E-commerce manager. As the strategist for digital content and project lead, responsibilities include tracking and expanding online initiatives, ensuring full integration into the client experience, and implementing compelling ideas and creating digital content that is relevant, informative and impactful with attention paid to quality, style and format—while developing, optimizing and tracking online content.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Develop, lead and execute a successful digital content strategy aligned to the direction outlined from Marketing through project planning, testing, analysis and cross-department collaboration;
• SCRUM lead on all new projects and campaigns in collaboration with E-comm Manager, ensuring communication and brand vision is upheld and deliverables are received within indentified timelines;
• Expand and ensure content alignment outside E-comm members in relation to cross-departmental projects: design, visual, photo needs, marketing, etc.;
• Develop and maintain effective promotional/editorial email calendar, leaving room for organic needs/dynamism, while aligning content to seasonal themes and product flow;
• Establish processes to elevate approvals/communication (photo needs, marketing, E-comm, etc.);
• Support revenue and sales forecasting based on events and business needs;
• Analyze and monitor performances for all digital content and take action on gathered analytics to bring insight and implement action plans, ensure ongoing retention, growth and loyalty as well as drive sales growth;
• Approve and quality check all ‘brand voice’ copy and digital content;
• Identify opportunity for optimization and testing via email and website through best practices that will increase conversion rates and traffic;
• Work with online merchandiser and SEO expert to build and iterate a taxonomy and classification for content assets (improve impressions, ranking and data infrastructure);
• Aid in the building and communicating of seasonal post mortems from a content and merchandising perspective;
• Recommend and aid in the building of exclusive online assortments;
• Understand inventory control and ensure accurate levels of inventory and right product are available online.
Qualifications and competencies:
• Undergraduate degree in Fashion Marketing, Business Administration or related field;
• Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years related work experience;
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office with proficiency in Excel;
• Exceptional written communication skills;
• Excellent organizational skills;
• Ability to prioritize and meet tight deadlines;
• Proven collaborative team player;
• Detail oriented;
• Bilingual: French & English (written and spoken).
