As the Athletic Director of the Flagship Store in Paris you will have full accountability for delivering the store’s budgeted growth and all KPIs.
You will report directly to the Territory Director.
• Drive the leadership team within the store to coach their teams to create opportunities for staff development using the regular review process, make hiring decisions, driving performance management and recognition and rewards programme
• Product presentation and operational centre of excellence
• Develop team structure that facilitates and maximizes individual and team performance
• Manage all aspects of a high profile and high volume store, driving all key KPIs to ensure delivery of results
• Manage financial budget including labor costs and overall expenses
• Develop long term strategies for store growth and opportunity within the retail sector
• Succession planning and key leadership development through coaching and role model behaviours
• Responsible for communication and partnership between the European HQ and Nike Town Paris to ensure sales are optimized through correct product assortment
• Work in partnership with the loss prevention teams in store to ensure assets are protected
Deliver a premium consumer and employee experience and implement/execute global and regional programs to drive business results
Qualifications
• Fluency in written and spoken English is essential. Fluency in French is also essential
• At least 5 years senior management experience of high turnover, large store/region
• Proven track record of delivery of results including all retail KPIs
• Must have flagship mentality or multi-site management required
• Proven leadership capabilities, with the ability to build, lead and manage high-performing teams and develop talent, succession planning
• Retail operational excellence, budgeting and planning experience
• Aesthetic understanding of the product proposition within high end retail
• Proven record of driving teams on premium service delivery
• History of delivering product presentation excellence
