Description
As the Director of Finance Data Foundation, Master Data and Analytics, you will be responsible for the future state design of Finance’s data and master data across all core functional capabilities (e.g., financial planning, accounting transactions and processes, financial reporting, internal controls, tax, treasury and regulatory compliance, etc.). This will require strong strategic relationships with Finance, our cross-functional business partners and the SEC team to identify and influence process changes (go-to-market, sales, supply chain, etc.) that lead to significant Enterprise benefits. You will provide forward-thinking input to the implementation roadmap for the Finance & Strategy function, define functional capabilities relative to data and analytics enabled by the new ERP and best of breed solutions, and identify functionally-specific initiative benefits / value drops and lead the design, build, and execution activities to realize those benefits.
In partnership with the SEC Data and Analytics Lead, you will define and develop global business processes, data structure and standards, data and master data governance strategies, and legacy application integration plans. You will also partner with the Finance Master Data Operational team and the Finance Technology team to create and execute a viable production support strategy and readiness plan for post-implementation.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Business is required
• MBA with an emphasis in Economics, Finance , Accounting, or related fields desired
• A minimum 12+ years' experience in Management Consulting, Finance, Accounting and related disciplines
• 10+ years experience leading large cross-functional portfolio of change initiatives preferred
• Extensive experience with Organizational Change Management and/or Process Improvement initiatives as applied to a large globally-dispersed organization
• Strong strategic thinker with proven experience building new capabilities and teams
• Strong risk/opportunity identification, analysis, and management skills
• Consulting skills - ability to grasp the issue and situation, and recommend and implement a solution; to translate concepts into executable tasks
• Superior writing, communication and presentation skills to all levels of the organization
• Ability to influence at all levels of the organization
• Proven ability to manage and develop people, including those without direct lines of authority
• Ability to work with high degree of independence while managing upward communication to executive leadership teams and management
• Demonstrates use of positive energy to motivate teammates
