Description
The Social Media Specialist is focused on the logistics and strategy of the company’s social media accounts. A successful candidate will manage the content calendar, social budget, write copy, schedule posts, and coordinate incoming digital assets with the creative and marketing teams. The Social Media Specialist will also be responsible for growth strategies for the company’s social media accounts including but not limited to establishing and managing promotions, new acquisition, personalization, partnerships, social implementations, building relationships, building listening campaigns, team collaboration, and performance reporting.
Responsibilities:
• Build social listening campaigns
• Engage in social conversation advocating the brand
• Research and plan content, engagement, and promotional strategy
• Research, concept, and execute social selling strategy
• Manage social ad spend
• Collaborate and coordinate within the Social Team
• Leverage social media channels to support campaign and promotional initiatives
• Represent social media channels of responsibility online and offline
• Deliver analytics for performance and accountability reporting
• Stay current on social media industry and innovations
Requirements:
• A Bachelor's or Associates Degree in marketing, public relations, communications, or a related area or professional experience in marketing, communications, or fashion
• Two to four years of experience in social media marketing for business preferred
• Experience in direct response/customer service
• Excels at research and possesses excellent writing communication skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Great attention to detail
• Understands the power of content marketing
• Understands social media landscape, innovations, and practical application
• Experience with a social media scheduling/publishing tool preferred
• Willingness to experiment and ability to deal with uncertainty
• Ability to create great working relationships with all levels within the company
• Is eager to meet and exceed objectives and take on more responsibility
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products
