The Global Ecommerce Project Manager's area of responsibility will be to deliver projects for the Levi's & Dockers global web stores. The Project Manager will be part of the global Ecommerce IT team partnering with Product Management, Ecommerce Business and third party partners. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, coordinating and leading activities of multiple cross-functional teams to complete projects in support of Levi’s Strauss & Company’s Ecommerce business strategy.
Key Responsibilities
• Manages assigned projects through full-life cycle, requirements definition and through stabilization
• Manages geographically dispersed business teams, off-shore development teams, and third-party vendors
• Manages highly complex projects of a large complex global Ecommerce program in an Agile environment
• Ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet business partner expectations
• Serves as a Scrum Master (Agile) on an as needed basis who directly oversees daily activities for the project team
• Provides management visibility into project status while executing effective decision-making, approvals, and direction
• Ensures UAT activities meet business goals. Coordinate release business approval(s) prior to launch
• Understands the domain, knows the experts, asks the right questions to prioritize and perform necessary follow-up to resolve issues
• Leverages professional experiences to identify potential areas of improvement in project performance
• Shares best practices related to project management
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree required
• 5 + years project management experience
• 3+ years of Ecommerce program or project management
• Experience with Agile and Waterfall project methodologies
• Experience implementing and maintaining Ecommerce platforms and third party Ecommerce applications
• Demonstrated experience working with global teams
• Demonstrated ability to bring structure to ambiguous environments and to work well with people at all levels of the organization
• Ability to influence change outside of span of control and build stakeholder support
• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to get results through formal channels and informal networking within a matrix project organization.
• Demonstrates strong verbal and written skills
• A self-starter who is energetic, enthusiastic, adaptable and a customer-oriented team player
• Ability to work with multiple cross-functional groups, including business and technical teams.
• Experience with Ecommerce platforms, OMS, search and third party Ecommerce applications
