Job Summary
This role will support the LAB SERIES brand.com and retailer.com sites helping to achieve their online sales targets. The Candidate will oversee the execution of ecommerce oriented marketing and content as well as support the teams with business analysis, merchandising, marketing (on-site and email), site data, QA efforts as well as asset/content trafficking and customer service/operations. The Candidate should be highly organized, meticulous, and comfortable with excel, QA & multi-tasking. A passion for online and the beauty industry is a must. Excellent communication skills, deadline oriented & strong attention to detail is also a must.
Key Responsibilities:
PRODUCT/DATABASE SUPPORT:
• Assist manager in ongoing maintenance and update of the product database, including addition of new products (gather product details/images/copy) and continually monitoring/changing outdated information (e.g. discontinued products, price, etc.) and actively merchandising for optimal site experience.
• Assist manager in monitoring product inventory daily including out of stock items and arrival of new product launches – ensuring updates are made in a timely manner and communicating updates to external & internal teams
• Active merchandizing of the site to ensure a best-in-class customer experience - i.e. removing sold out items, moving down older products, removing seasonal copy that is outdated, etc.
• Distribute products assets to International and external partners on an as needed basis.
• Conduct final user testing and quality assurance processes on all new offer codes and new products to ensure accuracy, browser compatibility and highest quality user experience.
• Maintain and update library of photography images and videos, keeping it organized, current and easily searchable.
• Serve as the team’s main point of contact for Customer Service and Operations for all promotions, marketing plans, new products and consumer questions and issues; Work with senior team members to resolve Customer Service issues.
• Continually monitor brand site online promotions and proactively notify team of any changes that need to be made.
• Participate in Online planning meetings regarding new product launches, emails, promotions, etc. Assess new programs and promotions based on historical analysis. Take and distribute meeting notes.
MARKETING/SITE SUPPORT
• Manage set up of offer codes and offer testing for all promotional campaigns
• Management of promotional samples: Monitor samples inventory, manage all new sample set up in database, and liaise closely with North America Ecommerce team on promotions to ensure accuracy.
• Oversee the implementation of site refreshes and ensure they follow the marketing calendar.
• Communication liaison to Customer Service team with regards to customer issues/comments, as well as keeping the Customer Service team apprised of updates in marketing calendar/promotions
• Manage all kitting requests of online sets and set up of SKUs in product database
• Assist with the organization & uploading of assets for all retailer partners.
• Maintain marketing & content calendars and distribute updates to Online, Customer
• Oversee various aspects of email marketing, including asset delivery, CRF creation, testing, approvals and regular reporting.
• Oversee creation & distribute of marketing collateral/site assets to Global markets in a timely manner.
• Assist in QA of special ecommerce projects.
RETAILER.COM SUPPORT
• Assist manager with daily retailer.com requests
• Asset distribution to appropriate retailer.com sites including new product launch information, product shots, videos, visuals and copy.
• Responsible for supplying all online retailers with product comps for photography or customer services requirements.
• Communicate with creative department for any retailer.com asset creation needs
• Responsible for keeping track and updating monthly marketing calendars, sending correspondence with updates to vendors, designers and internal team.
• Support QA of retailer.com sites (for example: http://shop.nordstrom.com/labseries)
Qualifications:
• 2+ years related experience; online experience a plus.
• MS Office with proficiency in excel.
• Adobe Photoshop and .NET experience a plus.
• Detail-orientated individual with strong organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong communicator, highly organized, strong ability to multi-task and prioritize in a face-paced environment
