Responsibilities
As a Product Merchandising Manager, you will provide single point product merchandising focus, accountability and expertise for assigned channels. You will gain a current, in-depth understanding of the retail landscape and identify and validate product needs, opportunities, and gaps. You will collaborate with Global Business Unit teams to create optimal footwear assortments and strategies that support growth and brand objectives. You will lead the creation and presentation of quarterly distribution/segmentation guidelines and coordinate merchandising events and deliverables. In this role, you will provide critical input to net pricing, stocking policy, Alpha program, catalogue and product webcasts, and more. You will be required to present product lines to strategic retail partners.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree required, MBA preferred, with 6 or more years of industry experience. Minimum 3 years of experience combined in footwear merchandising, sales, and/or product creation.
• Knowledge of channel segmentation, range architecture, product assortments, concept drivers, and product flow.
• Leadership skills with the ability to influence.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the desire to build lasting relationships internally and with retail partners.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are essential.
• Superior communication skills, especially presentation skills.
• Computer skills.
• Travel required – approximately 25-30%.
