Role Description
The Digital Manager, Corporate External Communication will help shape, project and protect Coty’s corporate brand, business and reputation, supporting the company’s vision of becoming a leader and challenger in beauty. The Digital Manager will lead all aspects of digital communication at the corporate level, including social media strategy and corporate website development and day-to-day oversight. This position requires a creative and highly-motivated individual with a passion for beauty.
The Managers primary responsibility will be developing and maintaining the corporate website and social media channels, both from a functional and content creation and strategy standpoint. This includes:
Website
• Leading the redesign of corporate website working with external agencies and internal stakeholders to ensure the project is completed on time and on budget, and that it meets required specifications and strategic objectives
• Developing and sourcing content for the corporate website so that it appropriately tells the Coty strategic narrative and represents our diverse brand portfolio
• Maintaining the corporate website to ensure all functionality, working with development agency
• Work with Country Corporate Affairs leaders to develop country websites, within the framework of Coty.com
• Develop website best practices guide
Social media
• Develop and lead strategy for Coty’s social media channels including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Glassdoor, executing against specific strategic objectives and building strong follow base
• Partner with HR and internal communications to develop creative campaigns that drive awareness about our value proposition and enhance our recruitment of the best talent
• Develop metrics to measure the effectiveness of social media campaigns and report on performance against strategic objectives
• Partner with legal to develop social media policies and education/training for all Coty colleagues
• Help to ensure the accurate use of the Coty corporate brand on external-facing assets/platforms
The Manager will also support the VP Corporate External Communication in all corporate external activities including corporate announcements (earnings, M&A, leadership appointments, etc), media engagement and corporate asset development (corporate presentation, brochure), and must have a desire and willingness to learn other aspects of corporate and external communications.
Skills/Qualifications
• 5-7 years communications experience with at least 2-3 years of experience in digital
• Basic web development skills with knowledge of web standards - HTML/CSS/JS/PHP
• Experience managing content in Drupal content management system
• Proficient with graphics and photo editing software (Adobe Creative Suite)
• Early adopter of new digital platforms and trends with fierce curiosity of "what's next?"
• Familiarity with enterprise social media management platform Sprinklr a plus
• 1-2 years digital project management experience
• Strong ownership and accountability - able to roll-up your sleeves and make things happen
