Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
The Senior project manager dynamic pricing will be tasked with the strategy, delivery and implementation of the dynamic pricing initiative within the Western European eCommerce organisation.
This position will work closely with the DTC pricing team. This will include but not be limited to interaction with key stakeholders such as Big Data team, Global Analytics, Market Counterparts, DTC merchandising and also getting organisational buy in within a matrix organisation.
This position will directly report to the Director Analytics and will be tasked with the sole and full responsibility of realising the Dynamic Pricing Solution in close coordination with the DTC pricing team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Define and drive the Dynamic Pricing strategy from a platform, vendor, business decision and an organisational alignment point of view.
• Manage the relationship with key global stakeholders in order to ensure that the project phase is successfully implemented.
• Work closely with the DTC pricing team to develop a sustainable operational model and ensure clear alignment on operational success.
• Define a clear communications strategy to highlight key learnings, challenges and milestones to ensure sustained momentum of the project.
• Align with key business stakeholders to derive the organizational decision process that drives dynamic pricing in the Western European Direct to Consumer organization
• Define the dynamic pricing data model, align the business requirements with the global big data team, and ensure that the data model is correctly implemented in the big data platform
• Specify and drive enhancements to the existing BI environment of the Western European Direct to Consumer organization that are necessary to enable dynamic pricing
• Manage process of selection, on-boarding, operationalizing, and quality assurance of pricing intelligence vendors
• Ensure that the business logic aligned with the key business stakeholders is implemented in the big data platform with a clear 1 to 1 mapping
• Create a sustainable analytics framework to ensure that the business impact of dynamic pricing can be measured, quantified, and interpreted

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Excellent project management skills, including the ability to work on several projects simultaneously on a local and global level
• Outstanding problem solving skills – able to identify, analyze, and propose solutions to various technical and business issues
• Ability to create clear, concise and actionable materials for internal clients (including strong data visualization), and to influence their adoption of Analytics into their day-to-day business.
• Strong track record at building relationships and partnering with internal clients on complex business problems to develop actionable recommendations
• Full blood team player able to work productively and co-operatively cross-functionally, with peers and across a Matrix, with stakeholders coming from different horizons
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively to internal and external clients and vendors, both orally and in writing
• Understand and explain complex issues, but also clearly identify and communicate the situation at a high level
• A passion for delivering data-based recommendations for quantifiable improvements in business results and consumer satisfaction
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
College or university degree with a focus on finance, business analysis, and/or IT. Minimum of 6+ years of experience in eCommerce business intelligence environment—preferably in online apparel or footwear retail. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted.
• Master’s degree in business analytics preferred
• MBA preferred from a leading organisation.
• 5-8 years of Dynamic Pricing preferred.
• eCommerce and dynamic pricing experience required
• Strong hands-on experience in diverse BI tools such as Tableau, Alteryx, HANA, and MSTR
