JOB DESCRIPTION
In this role you will manage the development, and maintenance of Merchandising ways of working (people/process/systems) to ensure maximum efficiency and effectiveness. You will also lead the seasonal pricing process and identify key insights to inform decisions within the merchandising function: working closely with cross-functional internal stakeholders you own the pricing calendar and the associated key milestones (for example sales and product launches).
Key Responsibilities
• Support the wider Merch team in development of detailed ways of working and critical cross functional touch points that ensure timely and complete hand off of work
• Support alignment in ways of working and tools across areas
• Support the management of stakeholders throughout 4 P initiatives both process and work content
• Provide GTM metric capture including strategic analysis and report out to key stakeholders, updates and reporting
• Support the development of non-GTM tools/process to ensure operational excellence for the LSE merch organization
• Support building tools and processes that improve operations for LSE merch org
• Coordinate with other cross functional operations groups to develop and keep current, the detailed GTM calendar
• Ensure Pricing optimization, maximizing top and bottom line.
• Partner with finance to manage seasonal pricing analysis.
• Coordinate pricing sign off milestone meetings with Finance partners.
Essential Requirements
• Significant commercial experience gained in a strategy or programme office environment
• Ideally coming from a background of Retail FP&A or merchandise planning
• Experience of operating in a Continuous Improvement environment
• Six sigma experience would be highly beneficial
• Strategic and analytical mindset
