Purpose
• To support the Digital Innovation team with research and analysis into new technologies or consumer insights that can be used to deliver unique, consumer facing digital solutions that help the adidas consumer connect with the brand and our products. A core focus will be research and human centred design strategy. In a fast-paced ever, changing environment, assist with vendor vetting, strategic direction, presentation development, brainstorming, and consumer journey mapping. Projects center around piloting new digital commercial experiences that can be used to ensure adidas operates on the cutting edge of technology. The Digital Producer will work with the Digital Innovation team to bring new digital experiences to life for consumers and the brand.
Key Accountabilities
• Organize and conduct discovery meetings with digital service companies that offer new solutions. Plan, communicate, schedule, track, and help evaluate which services are viable solutions.
• Support insights gathering by connecting with consumer insights resources and tools to track current consumer and industry trends.
• Conduct independent research and create reports that look into technology, trends, and consumer insights which support the Digital Innovation Team’s goals and objectives.
• Provide clear and transparent project updates to team members and stakeholders at different levels, including both formal and informal project updates.
• Help to manage third-party design based on current industry best practice, ensuring that the digital solutions that are explored are effective and best represent the adidas brand. A focus on human centred design strategy is important.
• Assist managing agency partners, particularly on the UX and design focused tasks, in coordination with internal stakeholders on a project by project basis
• Partner with Program Management team to deliver project summary overviews that include all aspects of pilot execution, including targeted consumer insights, technologies, proposed hypothesis, and recommendations as well as handover documentation to business partners.
• Maintain a collaborative relationship with internal and external resources to facilitate future partnership
• Assist with additional tasks as necessary
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
• Minimum two (2) years’ experience managing digital projects in a professional work setting
• Excellent problem solving skills – able to identify, analyze and propose solutions to various project issues
• Strong attention to detail
• Understanding of industry best practices to research trends, analysis, and insights.
• Ability to work independently under little guidance on several projects simultaneously, action-oriented with the ability to multi-task and discern priorities
• Strong interpersonal skills, with ability to build successful relationships within a team and cross-functionally, including global partners
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively to internal and external clients and vendors, both verbally and in writing
• Experience producing creative digital presentation materials and decks for both internal and external audiences.
• Innate interest in new technology and a curiosity for digital innovation
• Demonstrable experience successfully managing projects by collaborating with resources and partners across brand, marketing, design, development, research and user experience.
• Ability to use various project and communication tools depending on the project (for example: MS tools, Keynote, Google Docs, Slack, Keynote, Teamwork PM, Basecamp and JIRA)
• Must be entrepreneurial with an innovative spirit, great at handling change and ambiguity, eager, and willing to take chances.
Qualifications
1. Four year college or university degree
2. Two years working experience conducting market research and gathering consumer insights
3. Experience working on the strategy, design, and development of digital products (apps, websites, etc)
4. Equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be substituted for degree
