Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organisation:
Lead and plan the effective implementation of the Global Brand communication strategy throughout the Market in order to build the Brand and the Category and to drive sales.
Create and execute brand communication campaigns for all channels (where required and approved by Global).
Lead and plan the effective PR/Event activation to maximize the Brand exposure to build the Brand momentum and to drive traffic to our branded space.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide input into the overall seasonal, annual and Strategic Business Plan for the Brand.
• Plan the effective implementation of the Global BA/BU's communication strategies across Market sub-units, in order to build the Brand and the Categories and to drive sales.(in close collaboration with the Market BU lead)
• Consolidate input into the creation of the Market Brand Calendar, including Omni-channel activation.
• Create the seasonal and annual brand marketing strategy and activation plan (including Key City Attack Plans and integration of lead Sports Marketing assets), landing the Global priorities and significantly improving Brand KPIs.
• Allocate Category flexi MWB across the marketing mix to best improve Brand and Business KPI’s
• Ensure Category and Brand Plan executional excellence and monitor and report on performance against the Brand and Business KPIs.
• Provide input to the Global BU to ensure Brand Marketing tools are optimized to best meet Market needs and significantly improve Brand Business KPIs.
• Manage category flexi Marketing Working Budget (full Marketing Working Budget, depending on Category), looking for efficiencies whether internally or externally.
• Deliver the best possible sell-in tools (advertising, media, trade marketing, own retail marketing, e-Comm, consumer-facing events, PR and social tools) for the Category and augment where needed with Global approval.
• Lead market PR team
KPIs:
• Brand Health KPIS (Brand Consideration, Brand Momentum/PR Exposure, Consumer engagement/reach, membership, etc.)
• Market Share(RSM, Branded space in Gyms, etc.)
• Market Sales vs Plan
• Key Relationships:
• Market Peers reporting to the Brand Activation Head
• Counterpart in Global Brand Communications team
• External Agencies including domestic and global.
• Lead category BM, Digital, PR team
• Market Wholesale, Retail and eCommerce Marketing teams
• Market Sports Marketing/Fitness manager team
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Significant knowledge of the full strategic marketing planning (as timely analysis and verification of marketing research: fitness market, target consumer and insight etc)
• Marketing planning and directional suggestion of the target approach based on essential viewpoint to be achieve KPI
• Significant knowledge of the full marketing mix (advertising, PR, events, sponsorship, retail) with a major brand or retailer (sporting goods industry preferred)
• Leading and managing a diverse team
• Proven media planning/buying experience
• Good understanding of the Consumer Campaign Process from brief through to execution
• Proven communicator – both written and verbal
• Ability to build strong relationships (agency management)
• Marketing budget management
• Advanced user of MS Office suite of products
• Experience in both market and above market organization preferred
Requisite Education
Qualifications:
• Communications qualification or equivalent industry experience and experience
• Fluent in English
• Fluent in local language (if applicable)
