Joie, Equipment, and Current/Elliott are looking for a dedicated, and creative designer to join our team and assist with all aspects of graphic design as it relates to marketing. The goal of the Graphic Designer is to communicate the brand aesthetic as conceptualized by the VP of Creative Services into all creative materials created for marketing.
We are looking for someone who is organized, proactive, and adaptable and who understands our brand. They will work on all aspects of design, identity, and branding and assist the team in producing highly creative, effective designs across a variety of platforms.
• Create website graphics, email blasts, digital and print advertisements where needed.
• Assist in still life photo shoots and manage retouching and photo archival of all imagery produced from these shoots. ,
• Conceptualize and design POPs, GWPs and retail packaging concepts.
• Create layouts for all wholesale marketing materials including but not limited to: image focused linesheets, seasonal inspirations, fit guides, brand presentations, event flyers, lookbooks, etc.
• Photo management, archival and retouching:
• Maintain an archive of all photo content in RGB, Web, and print CMYK
• Retouch scanned and digital images - removing acne, wrinkles, shine, eye bags, glass glare on portraits, adding and removing elements to and from images, removing scratches and miscellaneous requests.
• Manage image requests for vendors and sales teams for press/sales purposes.
• Dropping image files in existing in-design documents.
• File conversion.
• Assist PR team with layouts for all press releases and press kits .
Skills/Qualifications:
• An expert in Adobe Creative Suite CS5 a must, and knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong eye for layout, typography and current design trends
• Ability to work quickly and in an organized fashion
• Previous experience as a graphic designer
• Detail oriented, organized and self-motivated
• Knowledge of print and production
• Ability to work as a team as well as an individual
• Believes in the brand and has the desire to elevate it
