POSITION:Associate Director, HR - Performance
DUTIES:
Responsible for ownership of the performance management system for the US Commercial Businesses (sales, marketing, R&D, and finance) that is built by the MBO (management by objectives) and routine excellence (PDCA/SDCA) programs. The Associate Director, HR - Performance is accountable for implementing performance management processes and policies in the US Commercial teams, participation in the development specifications and requirements for a software tool that supports the role, and maintaining responsibility to plan, improve and maintain the performance system in full. Specific duties include the following: Manage MBO processes, including goals cascade (coordinating and executing 800 team meetings), quarterly performance appraisals for 1,800 employees, managing 300 KPIs (definitions, data collection, tracking, automation of results, and others), and annual auditing of 1,800 employee MBO scores that directly impact each employee’s bonus; Implementation of PDCA/SDCA problem solving methodology in partnership with the US Commercial areas, including development of tools, trainings, gap analysis and action plans; Provide guidance and support to the US commercial areas to develop and maintain routine management tools, including standard procedures (playbooks), rituals, calendars, templates, and visual management; Developing, maintaining and executing championship programs (results and routine based competitions) that recognize exceptional performance through variable compensation; Manage a team of two (2) associates to deliver for the US Commercial teams.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Business Administration, Finance, or a directly related field together with six (6) years of progressively responsible experience in the position offered or a related occupation in management analysis.
Previous employment must have included experience with: PDCA and SDCA management methodologies; MBO Management by Objectives (Hoshin Kanri) methodologies; Leading and delivering performance management projects across multiple functional areas and countries; Reviewing and understanding P&L reports and other financial reports.
