HERE’S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
• Driving RGM requirements/guidance: You’ll be uniquely responsible among the Global RGM team for driving, with Finance/Planning, a breakdown of price/mix requirements within our global growth algorithm, on a market X category basis, to drive more explicit RGM guidance into our Mid-Year Strategic and annual planning processes. You’ll also be systematically monitoring competitive behavior across geographies to develop perspective on key competitors’ pricing strategies and implications for Kellogg in various regions
• Building common frameworks and tools and engaging with markets to build local capabilities to improve Price Strategy, notably approaches to:
◦ Drive cross-geography and cross-channel price corridor harmonization Maximize ASP/kg vs. Per Capita GDP
◦ Set competitive price gaps and lead vs. follower ambition in various competitive situations
◦ Understand risk of current price strategies relative to competitive actions and retailer GMROI/ROCE trends
◦ Establish and further innovate pricing stance (e.g., EDLP vs. High-Low; use of must-buy and other mechanisms) relative to retailers and market in pursuit of revenue and profit goals
• Building common frameworks and tools and engaging with markets to improve local Mix Management, notably approaches to:
◦ Identify latent opportunities to drive accretive single serve as portion of mix
◦ Identify latent opportunities to drive accretive geography, channel, customer, and/or product/pack shifts
◦ Establish optimal price ladders/rate of price per gram premium as move from large to smallest size SKUs
◦ Codify best practices in driving rapid supply chain improvements that support positive mix and longer-term platform planning to enable systemic goals
• Regularly acting as lead or member of “swat team” supporting RGM initiatives at the local level:You’ll be cross-trained on all elements of RGM though “majoring” in Price Strategy/Mix Management
• Driving RGM Capabilities/Best Practices: You’ll be designing, leading or participating the delivery of training, toolkits, and other learning materials designed to embed best practices as Kellogg Way of driving RGM. You’ll also be developing a Kellogg perspective and reference set on excellence in customer Price communications as well as developing and cascading analytic approaches to optimize the assortment and shelf set
YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS
Required:
• Bachelor’s Degree
• Significant experience in progressive leadership roles within the RGM function
• Experience with strategic work outside of core execution of Trade Architecture/Event planning and Management.
• General commercial experience encompassing Key Account Sales, Category Management, or Shopper Marketing and/or Commercial Finance
• Familiarity with key TPO/TPM platforms, Nielsen/IRI/POS data
• Must demonstrate strategic thinking as well as creative problem solving – both conceptual and analytical – skills
• Must have demonstrated evidence of ability to influence and communicate effectively across all levels within an organization, regardless of reporting relationships, as well as skills influencing executive level Customers
