Your mission at Taste point will be to work with internal and external stakeholders to establish creative strategies for complex and mission critical initiatives in order to fulfill customer expectations and ensure profitability. To that end, you will direct the development and implementation of the company’s short-range strategic planning process in order to ensure the best use of Tastepoint’s sales and technology resources, within this responsibility. This position will also manage and oversee this team’s participation in projects and initiatives with IFF North America (“IFF NOAM”) Flavors in collaboration with fellow senior managers.
Using your managerial skills to lead the Marketing, Business Development and Sensory & Consumer Insight teams for Tastepoint, you will guide the development of, influence and execute strategies that will drive regional performance towards long term Growth, Market Share gains and strong portfolio management. As with any matrix organized companies, it is expected that this position communicates and ensure alignment with other key stakeholders such as Commercial teams and Global Marketing and Global Strategic Insights. You will also coolaborate closely with other departments, specifically our Creation & Applications team in order to create short and medium-term strategies for each of the different categories in that team in order to align this to the corporate general strategy and align these interests with those of our customers.
Directly accountable to drive 2 critical regional KPIs: Win Rate (% and $) and Project Pipeline generation by maximizing customer engagement and ensuring exposure to most appropriate portfolio IFF technologies and products.
Main responsibilities
• Drive Growth: Leads direct and dotted-line reports to develop and execute strategic initiatives.
• Develop and deliver solid Strategies based on market evidence (consumers and customers); Tastepoint capabilities & technologies and account needs
• Monitor regional category KPIs (Project Pipeline, Wins, Results from Initiatives) and lead action plans to correct deviations when needed
• Work with regional Commercial leaders to improve accounts strategy and execution of must win projects
• Articulate and coordinate resources to ensure Tastepoint has competitive/relevant products and technology aligned with our regional strategy.
• Connect and exchange with peers from other regions and functions best practices, including market & trend analysis, customer understanding, consumer insights, capability presentations across categories regionally and category initiatives
• Ensures that overall budgets, schedules, and performance standards are realistically set and attained
• Fosters strong integration among key functions, including equivalent teams at IFF NOAM
• Builds and maintains a strong talent pool within Tastepoint’s category, marketing and SCI organizations and creates career development plans
• Coaching and development of Senior Business Development Manager, SCI Manager and Senior Marketing Manager for best performance in delivering initiatives and results.

Required Experience:
Mandatory
• Graduate in Food Science, Food Engineering or Marketing
• Marketing or business management experience (at least 5-10 years)
• 3 to 5 years of people-management experience
• Fluent in English
