Description
• Sell-in brand promotions to national on-premise retail chain headquarters.
• Develop and manage annual account plans for national on-premise retail chain accounts.
• Work closely with National and Regional Key Bar, Tavern & Casual Dining accounts across the US to develop and execute strategic retail plans to drive incremental sales and share gains across AB’s full portfolio.
• Develop custom sales promotions, where necessary, to secure retail support.
• Prepare and present business reviews to accounts at senior levels in their organization.
• Use category mgmt. principals to influence a chain's overall strategic management of the beer category.
• Manage and effectively utilize both Administrative and Retail Marketing budgets.
• Following state and federal guidelines to ensure legality of sales initiatives.
• Manage a national team of 30+ with 7 direct reports.
• Bachelor’s Degree is required, an emphasis in business is preferred.
• Sales experience in consumer goods to retail chain accounts preferred.
• Knowledge of retail selling initiatives such as category management and information-based selling.
• General knowledge of beverage industry and direct store delivery.
• Proven track record of developing and monitoring of operational budgets in support of strategic performance goals.
• Thorough understanding of beer wholesaler operations and retail sales execution.
• Understanding of DSD, 3-tier system, and retail environment
• High level of expertise with analyzing information.
• Basic PC skills, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Effective communicator and presenter.
• Ability to travel 50-75%.
