Director, Category Leadership - Kroger
• Build, develop and lead high-performing Retailer facing category management team
• Collaborate cross-functionally with other teams to idenifity capabilities gaps, drive process improvement and share best practices
• Foster results driven culture with focus on KPI execution
• Collaborate with Retail Partners to develop Beer Category Growth Plans
• Utilize multiple POS and Syndicated data sources to develop a deep understanding of the retail sales environment
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive successful execution of Category Growth Plan
• Develop efficient processes to monitor progress against Category Growth Plan
• Continually monitor performance vs. plan and work with retailer to adjust plan as needed to drive positive results
• Bachelor's degree with emphasis in Business, Computer/Data Science or Engineering
• 5-10 years in Category Management and/or Sales in Consumer Product Goods industry
• Experience utilizing POS, Syndicated and Panel data to derive insights and develop category strategies that deliver growth
• Experience leading successful, large scale projects
• Demonstrated experience in partnering with senior leadership teams across functional teams
• Experienced, natural and confident facilitator, problem solver and business partner
• Exceptional influencing & selling skills
• Moderate to advanced technical skills
