Director of Merchandising Analytics

Our Merchandising department sources the best products throughout the U.S. and across the globe. Our teams have an entrepreneurial spirit as they maintain their product lines and actively seek opportunities for expansion. The department is looking for a talented Director of Merchandising Analytics to handle the analysis, auditing and interpretation of operational and analytical data for projects and initiatives to support the department.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
• Complete complex analysis with recommendations for the Vice President.
• Develop and manage Merchandising projects to drive department and company enhancements.
• Develop and maintain reports to measure and track the results of Merchandising and Product Management initiatives.
• Work closely with other departments on pricing, purchasing and product initiatives to drive results through Merchandising programs.
• Dive deep into reports created by other departments to understand the possible impact to the Merchandising department.
• Research data on industry trends and developments.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor's degree.
• 7+ years experience. Auditing and cross-functional experience a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Demonstrated ability to summarize analytics and give recommendations.
• Strong sense of urgency, attention to detail, diligence and follow-through.
