Description
• Prepare and review complex financial analyses of ownership changes within the A-B wholesaler network
• Review wholesaler acquisition and financing documents to ensure compliance with A-B Wholesaler Equity Agreement
• Lead transition of current and future A-BI brands from non-equity wholesalers to A-BI wholesalers
• Project lead executing WOD acquisitions and divestitures--works closely with legal, tax and functional teams to negotiate contracts, obtain senior management approvals, ensure transaction closing and support integration efforts
• Perform business valuations for prospective acquisitions and divestitures by A-B
• Participate in the negotiation and structuring of transactions involving privately held businesses
Technical/Functional Skills:
• Industry-standard valuation methodologies for privately-held businesses
• Strong knowledge of Excel and financial modeling
• Strong knowledge of the application of finance and accounting concepts
• Detail-oriented and analytical
People Skills:
• Conducting diligence meetings with internal and external parties
• Negotiation and influence
• Ability to communicate finance concepts effectively with non-financial peers/managers and with our independent wholesalers
Knowledge of the following areas:
• Beer wholesale operations and the three-tier system
• Tax and accounting aspects of business combinations
• Merger and acquisition deal structures
• Current lending environment and practices
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics or business-related field required; MBA with finance concentration strongly preferred
• Five or more years of analytical work experience and at least 3 years Investment Banking, Public Accounting, Commercial Banking, or Corporate Finance/Planning/Development
