Supply Chain Director
In this role, you have the opportunity to
Determine the policy for the logistics department of the Business Unit. Manage an integral logistics department via a large number of department managers. Formulate the long-term logistics policy, taking into account all the relevant factors for integrated management Initiates changes to logistics management concepts in accordance with the requirements of the business leading to improvements across the entire supply chain.
You are responsible for
• Leads the assessment, identification and optimization of opportunities to stream line and remove waste from the end to end supply chain operating model for MA & TC
• Leads cross function team across BG, BU, Procurement, Supply Chain and Manufacturing to optimize supply network and product flows to increase overall supply chain velocity and effectiveness
• Leads projects and programs that improve performance, implementing new delivery model capabilities and improves overall customer experience
• Leads transition activities (footprint, acquisition, integration) in support of BG strategic direction, quality, delivery and cost improvements
• Develops robust transition playbook and methodology to ensure replication and reuse of assets, driving standard work and standardization
• Works across locations and functional boundaries to ensure asset reuse and standard work
You are a part of:
Monitoring & Analytics Operations
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
• Bachelor/Master of Science degree in a technical or business field. MBA preferred.
• Minimum of 10years of experience in project management and Supply Chain/Operations management.
• Proven ability to build and maintain effective working relationships across functions and organizations, especially with R&D.
• Proven track record of working successfully in a multi-national environment, good cross-cultural working experience
• Proven strategic and systems thinking skills
• Excellent leadership, communication, teamwork, mentoring, coaching and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a large organization with complex and changing boundaries as well as external regulatory constraints.
• Demonstrated ability to provide development opportunities for key members of team
• Strong knowledge and familiarity with external market, including customer needs, supply base, and best practices in industry
• Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement and Lean Manufacturing techniques and methodologies
• Travel will be required, expected to be less than 20%
