Job Summary
To support and provide accurate, relevant, knowledgeable, and timely cost accounting, financial and operational results, and transactional accounting information to the Glanbia. This may include the reconciling and preparing production reporting, balancing and tracking physical inventories and usage, and preparing bi-weekly payroll files. Provide support and perform purchasing duties.
Essential Functions
• Reconcile production daily, weekly, and monthly.
• Calculate and issue ingredients, packaging, cleaner, and miscellaneous usage daily/weekly.
• Prepare weekly production reports.
• Provide coverage for other office personnel.
• Review work and assess for reasonableness; identify and report on significant variances.
• Prepare weekly/monthly reporting for cost categories as assigned.
• Validate physical plant inventories against SAP weekly.
• Enter requisitions, receive material and manage LIV, GRIR, and Open POs.
• Prepare bi-weekly payroll files.
• Track employee attendance, personal and vacation time used and available.
• Support front desk as needed, including switchboard operator, greeting visitors, and distributing mail.
• Organize electronic and physical files
• Assist in weekly and monthly departmental and plant reporting.
• Support department heads within operations financial information.

Additional Functions
• Participates in special projects/ action teams.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
• Requires an Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or a minimum of one year related experience and/or training.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write reports and correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficient personal computer skills including electronic mail, record keeping, routing database activity, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, etc.
• Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures. Report all unsafe activities to supervisor and/or Human Resources.
• Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
• Provide leadership to others through example of sharing of knowledge/skill.

Physical Requirements
• Must be able to lift and carry items weighing up to 20 pounds.
• Manual dexterity sufficient to reach/handle items and work with the fingers and perceive attributes of objects and materials.
• Involves light physical activity performing non-strenuous daily activities of a productive//technical nature.
• Should be able to see clearly at 20 inches or closer and at 20 feet or more.
Typical Environmental Conditions
• May be exposed to moderate noise levels (i.e. office equipment and light traffic).
Travel Requirements
• Minimal travel limited within the local area.
