Who we’re looking for
The National Manager (Director) BI Data, Reporting & Analytics is responsible for providing executive management and leadership for development of TFS analytics database enterprise-wide. This role will provide the vision, strategy, and day-to-day oversight for a multi-disciplined team to develop TFS data warehouse to support self-services for business consumption.
A successful candidate will bring 7+ years leading large teams, with a mix of employees and technical contractors and 15 years or more of experience with database development (relational, dimensional) for BI data, reporting and analytics in multiple business areas with a portfolio management mindset. Their highly proficient technical skillset will include database management and the ability to communicate its value to non-technical business stakeholders. They will have an advanced degree in a relevant field such as Master’s Degree, MBA, and/or PhD in computer science, engineering, information management or equivalent.
hat you’ll be doing
• Lead and oversee the strategic direction and vision for the BI analytics data warehouse, focusing on long-term historical data to support customer lifecycle behavior and performance
• Define BI’s data strategy and roadmap, in alignment with TFS overall strategy for business analytics to support revenue growth and digital transformation
• Be a thought leader in the organization to influence data infrastructure and data model based on business trend and industrial data development
• Partner with other BI senior managers to establish and implement BI’s data and analytics strategy, roadmap, and drive for accurate, complete and timely data
• Standardize all data marts for all TFS business areas and work closely with business units to fulfill their analytics needs
• Lead and manage BI’s analytics data warehouse, from assessment, design, develop, implementation, to test, to ensure solutions meet goals and business needs
• Oversee BI’s analytics data warehouse to ensure consistent and reliable for BI reporting and analysis that meets consumer needs
• Comply with company contract management policies and manage performance of external vendors and resources
• Manage budgets for BI data warehouse development
Qualifications
What you bring
• Master’s degree (or higher) in a quantitative related discipline, or MBA
• Demonstrated experience with data warehousing technologies such as Netezza, Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE), Tableau and Watson Explorer, and Cloud data environment.
• First-hand expertise with developing large-scale data models using specialized knowledge in ETL, IBM Watson Explorer, Cloud Solution (AMS, Microsoft Azure, etc.)
• Demonstrated knowledge and first-hand expertise in data supply chain, data storage and big data applications
• Strong 1st hand proficiency in SQL, Python, Hadoop, SAS, and Tableau
• Consultative SME expertise in advising C-suite leaders on data project implementation and emerging technologies
• Demonstrated experience managing a team of data and analytics professionals, both onshore and offshore
• Demonstrated people leadership experience
