Director, InvestorRelations
The Director of InvestorRelations is responsible for developing and executing ADT’s global investorrelations program in collaboration with the SVP of FP&A and InvestorRelations. The primary objective of the Investor Relations program is to helpeducate and consistently update investors and external sell-side analysts onthe Company’s financial and operational results to achieve a fair stockvaluation to create long-term shareholder value.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute a messaging strategy that accurately reflects the Company's business performance and highlights opportunities for business growth and value creation
• Gather intelligence and information in the marketplace to inform and educate senior leadership regarding the near and long-term dynamics of the investment community. Provide insight on the potential impact of market forces on the Company's business success
• Liaise with operating business divisions and key business leaders to prepare for quarterly earnings reports to accurately communicate financial performance and other significant events taking place within the Company
• Assist and advise management on how to effectively communicate the potential impact of business initiatives and developments to the market and shareholders
• Provide the investment community an accurate and timely view of the Company's performance and prospects, accomplished through a structured investor marketing program that includes regular meetings/conference calls with investors and analysts; website content and other electronic means; and telephone and personal contacts with institutional investors and equity analysts
• Conduct competitive and industry analysis, including the development of industry and peer company performance criteria. Continuously measure and update this information and utilize it to provide a relative performance framework for the investment community
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree. CFA or MBA in Finance or another quantitative field preferred
• 8-10 years of experience with 5 years minimum relevant experience (investor relations, research/sell-side analysis, finance, etc.)
• Previous experience writing earnings press releases, preparing investor presentations, and writing earnings call scripts
• Previous experience using investment platforms such as Factset/Thomson One/Bloomberg and working with third party surveillance/market intelligence providers
Skills Required:
• Advanced knowledge of valuation, divestiture, accounting and/or capital markets
• Excellent communication (oral and written), presentation, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Confidence and presence to interface closely with executive management (internal and external)
• Intellectual curiosity, strong work ethic, and a quick learning curve
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
