Job Description:
As Global Channel Programs Senior Director, you are responsible for building programs that drive interest & enthusiasm for Plantronics and Polycom portfolio of products and solutions, and establish Plantronics as the trusted adviser within the channel community.
The Global Channel Programs Senior Director possesses excellent organizational, analytical, communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills. The role requires a proven track record in channel program management with a deep understanding of partner programs, messaging, analytics as well as working with business systems and operations teams. This person can multi-task, is self-motivated, while still interacting well with a team; is highly organized with a high energy level and can-do attitude.
Strong channel programs experience working with various GTM and partner types; able to translate business strategy to policy and process; understanding of the UC&C marketplace; strategic thinker, on top of channel and market trends; works well in highly complex and matrixed organization.
Additional requirements:
• 10+ years of experience in a senior programs, operations and strategy roles. Prior experience with a $1B+ technology company highly preferred.
• UC&C and Networking vendor experience preferred.
• Deep channel expertise in 1 Tier, 2 Tier, Service Provider and Distribution Routes to Market.
• Experience building and leading high-performance virtual teams to consistently deliver high impact results.
• Approaches problems in a rational manner using sound strategies that ensure effective resolutions.
• Analytical and data-driven, using complex datasets strategically to create improvements, provide practical business insights and persuade others.
• Focused on doing what’s right for the business. High energy with contagious enthusiasm.
• Clear and genuine communicator with executive presence and excellent relationship building skills who inspires trust and credibility with all levels of individuals, both inside and outside the company.
• Ability to handle multiple concurrent projects and drive initiatives in a cross-functional environment.
• Adept at addressing cultural and geographic differences in global strategy implementation.
• Demonstrated past success in meeting demanding schedules and making tradeoff decisions when needed.
