CREATIVE OPERATIONS DIRECTOR: BRAND CAMPAIGNS AND PROMOTIONS
POSITION SUMMARY:
Oversee and manage all product launch, promotional and evergreen messaging campaigns in the global commercial calendar. Responsible for creative project management from planning stages through creative development to multi-channel delivery. Establish, facilitate and maintain efficient workflow and communication between Creative group and all other contributing departments. Develop and oversee comprehensive project plans and keep projects on track.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
• Manage and oversee AOP for global brand campaigns and promotions; lead monthly forecast for workload and resource planning.
• Create project plans and constantly monitor schedules to keep projects on track.
• Oversee workflow and hold regular status meetings with representatives from other departments to ensure efficient coordination of projects in development and to maintain open communication.
• Establish and manage global creative approval process.
• Manage updates to weekly project tracking reports for global brand campaigns and promotions group.
• Partner with Sr. Director to lead weekly department status meetings.
• Partner with other Creative Operations leaders and VP to continually improve upon systems within the Creative area.
• Keep up to date with industry advancements in technology and resources.
• Supervise direct reports. Identify freelance needs and manage temporary help as needed.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
• Minimum 10 years experience in creative organizations, managing global Brand Campaigns. with 5 -7 yrs of management experience.
• Outstanding organizational and project management skills.
• Thorough understanding of global marketing planning, various marketing vehicles/channels, creative development and executional processes.
• Deep experience with project management software.
• Skilled at resource planning in a large creative organization.
• Strong, clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent people skills. Respectful of everyone, with a positive attitude and team spirit.
• Calm, level-headed approach with the experience to function effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in the beauty industry desired but not mandatory.
• BA in any related field.
