About The Job
The Business Partner role is a trusted business, leadership and employee advisor who creates value through forecasting talent challenges impacting business strategy, shaping and implementing people strategies and organizational change / delivers solutions and promotes the right workplace culture that aligns with how the business goes to market. Responsibilities include directing and implementing a full range of human resources policies and activities including appropriate timely referral and handling of employee relations and investigation services.
Specifically, you will do the following:
• Develop People strategies based on business goals.
• Ensure alignment between business objectives and people programs.
• Work with senior officer business leaders to develop and implement talent strategies, initiatives, and solutions that support business needs.
• Partner with executives and departmental leadership to optimize organizational structures.
• Lead and implement talent development strategies including engagement, workforce effectiveness and culture with frontline leaders and employees.
• Promote and lead organizational change at all levels of the company.
• Coach/ support/guide leadership team on total rewards programs.
• Direct team members to the right people service channel including investigations for employee relations cases.
• Support Team Member Relations & Investigation team with employee relations issues; and stay abreast of changes in the industry, laws, and regulations.
• Support leadership team at the local level on people requests not supported by Team Member Services.
• Apply people policies and programs to business goals, talent and/or organization issues.
• Serve as feedback channel between business and various people functions to ensure business perspective is understood.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
• At least 10 years’ experience in HR, with a minimum of 5 years leading people including remote team members.
• Undergraduate degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field or equivalent experience/training; Graduate degree in HR, Business, or related field preferred.
• Periodic travel is required.
Preferred Qualifications
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels within the organization including presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as function effectively as a member of a team.
• In-depth knowledge of local, state and federal employment laws.
• Previous work experience in employee relations and multiple HR disciplines
• Strong analytical skills, with demonstrated ability to analyze data and make sound recommendations.
• Ability to manage several projects, events, and programs simultaneously.
• Demonstrated superior leadership and management skills.
• Ability to consistently practice outstanding business judgment with unquestionable ethical practices.
