Director of Omnichannel Merchandising

A day in the life of a Director of Omnichannel Merchandising:
Reporting to the VP of Omnichannel Merchandising, the Director, Omnichannel Merchandising, will embrace Hasbro’s retail priorities and develop a plan to optimizeshopping experiences by offering (brick & ecommerce) merchandisingsolutionsgrounded in thought leadershipand consumer insightsin order to maximizePOS.
• Requires the development of a new strategic approach in identifying the most critical insights that impact the “virtual path to purchase.”
• Leads development of framework for creating, merchandising, measuring/auditing our omni shopping experiences and reporting
• Responsible for leading edge solution-based thinking on the “endless aisle” at retail with onset on digital/mobile as an in-store shopping related to shopping and planogramming.
• Responsible for establishing brand toolkit related to Hasbro 2019 Promotional calendar.
• Responsible for establishing analytics foundation in 2018-19 for ROI measures on all key projects.
• Responsible for leading vendor evaluation, scorecarding and negotiation effort in 2019.
• And for leading negotiation strategy with key vendors on multi-million dollars in expenses for digital and brick solutions
• Development of relationships at key retail accounts for OMNI Activation, ensuring alignment for all facets of the business. Building relationships with key partners to ensure Retail Activation is always innovative, progressive and insightful with everything we do.
What you'll bring:
• 10 years in customer marketing, retail merchandising and/or omnichannel merchandising
• Demonstrated, outstanding skills in successfully building teams and partnerships to influence and drive results. Successful in negotiating and/or influencing across all levels to gain cooperation and successfully implement projects.
• Proven leadership abilities, including ability to think strategically, develop operational strategies and determine long-term impact of decisions on the business
• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
• Pragmatic, confident and committed to actionable timelines
• Ability to assess, develop and lead people/teams
• A creative and conceptual thinker, not afraid to question and take risks
• Strong project management and problem-solving skills
• Must have demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects from creation to implementation while overseeing projects managed by individual team members.
• Ability to plan and implement strategic vision
• Excellent written and oral communication skills

• Ability to build relationships and influence across the organization
