Overview
We have an exciting opportunity for strategic, business focused HR leader to help shape the future of our Home Service Division of LWTA. This highly visible position, reporting to the directly to the President and GM of LIXIL Home Services and on a dotted line basis to the Chief HR Officer for LIXIL Americas, requires a strong emphasis on strategic and organization consulting that supports business transformation in a highly entrepreneurial and fast paced business.
The HR Business Partner contributes to business performance by providing strategic consulting on people strategies and organization development. As a strategic HR leader, this position will educate, coach, and influence business leaders on issues involving (but not limited to) organization design, talent management, workforce planning, performance management, employee and leadership development, rewards, cultural transformation, and employee engagement. The HRBP works cross functionally with client business partners and HR COE leaders to identify, provide design input, and implement HR initiatives that support the business needs.
Responsibilities
• Develop strong client relationships and deep knowledge of client business strategy and talent
• Serve as a strategic business partner and advisor to business leaders on people strategies that align with business objectives
• Assess business plans and ensure appropriate people strategies are designed and implemented to support the go to market strategy and growth objectives of the division.
• Assess current and future people and capability needs for the organization and develop strategies and plans to meet those needs.
• Partner with leadership to build a high performance internal telesales call center with a focus on sourcing, selecting, motivating, developing and retaining telesales account representatives
• Provide support to drive continued growth and high performance of our regional installer base
• Facilitate communication of the organization’s desired culture, vision and values which guide the decisions and actions of the business
• Act objectively while coaching employees and management through issues that are complex, difficult, or emotional in nature.
• Identify strategies to increase productivity, employee performance, engagement and commitment
• Demonstrate an understanding of the business and financial means to achieve business objectives.
• Leverage data, metrics, and analytics to drive data based decision making
• Lead LHS HR team
• Participate as a member of the LWTA HR Leadership Team and bring global and regional best practices to the Home Services division.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred
• 5-8 years of HR experience, with at least 3 years in a strategic partnership role
• Must demonstrate in-depth knowledge of HR processes such as organization design, recruitment, talent management, succession planning, and employee development
• Demonstrated ability to effectively partner with and influence senior leaders
• Experience supporting sales and call center functions
• Thorough knowledge of US Federal, State and Local Laws
• Demonstrated ability to make sound decisions and develop appropriate solutions
• Thrives working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and manage competing and conflicting priorities
• Highly effective presentation, facilitation, written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills/ability to interface effectively with people at all levels inside and outside the company
• Exhibits ability to think strategically and develop innovative talent solutions
• Excellent execution skills with a strong drive for results
