Samsung Electronics Americas represents 30% of the Samsung global business and marketing now operates out of a 55,000- square-foot flagship consumer experience space in the heart of Manhattan’s Meatpacking District. This “Marketing Center of Excellence” will serve as the hub for marketing, innovation and creativity.This new office represents an increased investment in top-tier creative and marketing talent to help Samsung continue building and challenging the huge momentum it has seen in the recent past. It is also intended to display the company’s enterprise mobile solutions and will serve as the home office for Samsung’s brand marketing team.
Position Summary
The Director, Integrated Marketing Communications and Strategy Director, Mobile is responsible for developing and executing multiple marketing campaigns across a number of projects throughout the year, specifically:
• Samsung Mobile Flagship Launch Campaigns
• Multicultural Marketing Plans and Campaigns
• Non-Flagship Mobile Marketing Plans and Campaigns This role will primarily manage the short to medium term GTM execution and advertising production process for Samsung Mobile Flagship campaigns.This role also includes the development of multicultural (African American and Hispanic) marketing campaigns from strategy to execution across multiple projects. Multicultural marketing is a relatively new work stream for the Samsung Mobile IMC Strategy team, so experience in this area, as well as project management, agency management and production are key.
Key Responsibilities
• Writing and developing creative briefs
• Developing creative work with agency partners and internal stakeholders
• Extensive project management experience, including contracts, budgets and tight deadlines
• Excellent internal stakeholder management - marketing functions, business and partners
• Outstanding external agency account management (previous experience leading account teams) Managing the integrated GTM process across multiple projects, partners and campaigns
• Managing development of creative assets, including:
o TVCs and end card tags o OLV / Digital content
o OOH / DOOH
o Product Packaging o Printed collateral,
o OLA / Banners o Campaign Launch Toolkits, Messaging Toolkits
• Developing multicultural brand strategy and campaigns
• Understanding and implementing global brand guidelines for SEA mobile projects
• Prepare campaign, progress, expenditure and other reports as requested by management Core Competencies

Organizations Necessary Skills / Attributes Requirements
• 15+ years of successful brand and creative leadership experience in a creative agency and/or complex corporate marketing environment (consumer products / electronics preferred)
• Significant experience in developing and executing multicultural marketing plans
• BA required, advanced degree in lieu of experience
• Command of storytelling, the creative process and brand management
• Strong project management, analytical, communication (written, verbal) and presentation skills
• Comfortable turning data into action, and data-informed decision-making
•Strong attention to detail
• Ability to perform effectively under tight deadlines with high degree of uncertainty and change
• Flexible, thrives in fast paced, dynamic environments
• Ability to prioritize, multi-task and react or adjust to ongoing business needs
• Affinity for the Samsung brand and genuine interest in innovation, tech & consumer electronics
• Knowledge of, or ability to quickly learn, SEA network systems (eContracts, SAP, GERP)

• Typically implements short-term action plans rather than developing policy, process or strategy
• Enhances or Improves methods or procedures and provides coaching to team members to ensure successful outcome
• Has deep knowledge on one job area or broad knowledge on several job areas
• Typically requires at least 8 years of related experience and a Bachelor's degree; or 6 years and a Master's degree; or a PhD with 3 years
