POSITION SUMMARY
This position will be responsible for leading and overseeing the planning, development and execution of the company’s global industry marketing for the Retail business. He/she will work in concert with global sales leadership and the marketing functions to develop the industry marketing strategy and plan on behalf of the organization, coordinate a variety of sales and marketing execution resources to carry out the plan, and ensures that sales resources understand the industry.
KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
• Responsible for partnering with Sales leadership to ensure NCR’s success in the market segment
• Champion and coordinate across the marketing functions to ensure that the needs of the segment are prioritized and serve as the subject matter expert to ensure programs resonate with buyers
• Lead the development and execution of industry marketing plans that align with segment/customer needs, business priorities and sales teams
• Represent the entire marketing value chain in industry discussions and activities
• Work with regional field marketing to develop regionally optimized programs that align with global sales priorities and deliver outcomes
• Collaborate with sales enablement and portfolio marketing to deliver on a well-developed sales enablement plan

BACKGROUND / EXPERIENCE
• Seven to 10 years relevant marketing experience
• Previous product/solution marketing experience/field marketing experience
• Industry expertise required
• Previous sales enablement and/or channel marketing experience a plus
