HERE’S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
• Communicating complex ideas, analytical results, thoughts and approaches in a simple way to non-analytical audience: You’ll do this through translating results into clear, concise presentations and written reports, and enabling internal and external stake holders to make informed decisions
• Providing measurement of top/bottom line ROI and demand drivers across all investment choices (sales and marketing)
• Business Partnering: You’ll work with media agencies and drive strong Joint Business Partnerships (JBP), partner with Finance to drive consistency of KPIs and IT to automate & standardized tools and analytics, communicate effectively across multiple internal and external stake holders and build commitment through influence and persuasion, act as a key resource to Brand, Media, Digital and Media buying agency teams to optimize brand building investment, lead delivery of annual and quarterly marketing mix models for 15-25 brands by partnering with Nielsen
• Assessing performance of select shopper marketing and VAP events: You’ll be responsible for owning Marketing Mix and VAP design, delivery, timelines, integration with annual planning process and continuous improvement
• Delivering and consulting on results: You’ll do this by using simulation and optimization tools which help teams to scenario plan and make agile choices
• Best Practice Sharing: You’ll be generating next practices and perform meta-analysis, driving organizational adoption of analytics and tools via process improvement or training
YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS
Required:
• BA/BS/BBA degree
• Extensive analytical experience.
• Ability to understand and explain complex methodologies and outcomes in ways customers can leverage and apply
• Strong presentation and communication skills including experience presenting to senior management
• Expert knowledge of trade and media investment optimization
• Expert knowledge of econometric / modeling concepts (e.g. Marketing Mix Models, Regression, ANOVA, Cluster Analysis, Segmentation Analysis, Machine learning, Artificial Intelligence)
• Strong understanding sales and marketing data streams and systems (For example, IRI, Nielsen, POS, Panel, Loyalty, Media, Social, others)
Bonus Points:
• MS/MBA/MA
• Experience working in a matrix environment
• Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships with all levels
• Experience on managing/coaching/leading teams
• Experience working in CPG industry
