Rodan + Fields has an opportunity for a dynamic leader who is passionate about our Independent Consultants' success and experienced in localizing incentive programs across multiple markets. The Director, New Market Field Programsis responsible taking our acquisition programs global. This role will be responsible for creating our global strategy and developing relationships with global partners to help us execute the plan.
Through interdependent teamwork with Field, IT, Brand Marketing, Marketing Communications, and Operations, the Director of New Market Programs designs global programs and aligns company resources to most effectively and efficiently set up R+F Independent Consultant organizations in new markets for long term success. A critical part of this role will be coordinating the seamless transition from New Market Field Program execution (“Design”), to Field Development, and the ongoing support and future development of programs (“Deliver”) in each new market. This position will work with cross-functional teams to coordinate all detailed implementation plans as they are related to strategic globalization of programs.
Responsibilities Include:
• As part of each New Market “Due Diligence” Phase, determine portfolio of consultant programs for launch, and first year of market operations.
• Work closely with Insights team to ensure decisions are based on current, relevant direct selling and consumer insights.
• Manage localization plan of all acquisition programs for New Markets ensuring feasibility, ROI, strategic value and capabilities
• Working with New Market Development Business Analyst, create business requirements documents (BRD)
• Champion roadmap development and deployment plans within NMD as well as across organization
• Manage all localization of documentation of all programs, as well as localization of all digital properties, such as R+F Journey (https://randfjourney.com/) etc.
• Build, develop and grow internal and external relationships and partnerships vital to deliver our programs globally
• Manage all cultural differences and nuances
• Manage cross-functional stakeholder expectations proactively
• Demonstrate cultural sensitivity and ability to plan and operate in multiple countries
Qualifications
• International Direct Selling work experience in market, or experience interfacing and managing relevant market functions in a direct selling environment
• Superior communication skills to influence others and meet deadlines while building strong relationships both internally and externally
• Flexibility, creativity, an entrepreneurial mindset and well developed strategic thinking skills
• Strong analytical skills with proven success reporting on breakeven points; achievement or failure to reach profitability, etc.
• Skilled in creating globalization plans, strategic documents and implementation
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills and ability to create and maintain detailed documentation
• Ability to work effectively with little supervision. Is a highly motivated self-starter
• Ability to anticipate needs, innovate, multi-task and excel in a fast-paced environment
• Bachelor’s degree required / MBA or equivalent preferred
• Foreign language skills strongly preferred
• 10-12 years of business development and/or programs development experience in a direct selling environment
