Director, Finance, Snacks Business Unit

HERE’S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
• Planning & Reporting Finance – Help us review financial plans & reports for departments, brands, equities, business units, or Company to provide visibility to prospective financial performance and facilitate the delivery of financial results to Company expectations. Providing analysis, insights, and recommendations to ensure financial expectations are met
• Innovation Finance – You’ll be completing financial work on innovation projects through preparation of financial analysis and modeling for project launches. Also identifying relevant risks and opportunities associated with the launches
• Marketing Finance – You’ll be supporting Marketing teams by providing financial guidance and oversight on profitability of marketing strategies, historical trend analysis, and insights on monthly P&L and Balance Sheet Results. Tracking and managing visibility to marketing investments
• Sales/Trade Finance – You’ll be supporting monthly fiscal business reporting, business analysis, and process management, providing financial insight for Region Sales Team and assisting in identifying trends and resolving issues causing deductions. Providing visibility to trade investments to ensure business invests according to planned levels
• Supply Chain & Manufacturing – You’ll be supporting the Supply Chain functions, managing processes related to manufacturing and distribution
• Conducting analysis – Help us make recommendations on capital and expense investments to improve supply operations performance
• Creates Direction – Help us by contributing to the creation of future strategies, clearly communicates the specific steps necessary to translate strategy into action, makes decisions that drive innovation and achieve profitable, sustainable results and operational effectiveness; values and rewards appropriate risk taking, promotes belief in the future direction of Kellogg; makes tough choices and identifies trade-offs
• Delivers Quarterly Results – You’ll be considering problems and opportunities from a broad, multi-function perspective; systematically gathers information from a variety of sources and engages others in ideas, analyzing information using tools and techniques, identifying implications and drawing conclusions; evaluating plans for viability and sustainability; and identifying key factors affecting financial performance
• Organizes to Win – Determining if the right structure and people are in place to execute the strategy, identifying the resources and actions that will be required to produce the desired results, and selecting leaders with the right skill sets to achieve business unit/function goals
• Drives Alignment – Help us developing a high performance environment within a department where strategies are clearly defined, targets for performance are aggressive, feedback is expected and used to improve performance, and where rewards for high performers and consequences for low performers are visible and real; collaborating across business units/functions to accomplish targets, promoting the sharing of ideas and opportunities in order to create a competitive advantage for Kellogg; collaborating with others to ensure overall success of Kellogg, and identifying sources of influence and leverages them to help move initiatives forward
• Invests in People – We will be looking for you to provide guidance to others through coaching and personal example; ensuring employees receive the job assignments, development experiences, and corporate exposure that will equip them for effective job performance and career goals

• Financial Insight & Influencing – Lead the analysis and insight of financial models to generate guidance for business teams
• Business Planning & Strategy – You’ll be developing and supporting business decision models and participating in strategy development
• Governance, Risk Management & Business Controls – Lead the analysis and insight of financial models to generate guidance for business teams
• Financial Analysis, Planning & Reporting – Help drive statistics/modeling, planning, valuation, reporting, and economic and financial analyses
• Accounting, Reporting & Operations – Help us by overseeing the general financial, accounting and audit processes, regulatory knowledge, and financial information systems
• Tax, Treasury & Regulatory – You’ll be working with Tax, Treasury trends, rules and regulations
YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS
Required:
• Bachelor’s Degree in a Finance/Business-Related field
• Extensive related work experience
• Advanced PC skills with an emphasis on Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Advanced analytical, problem solving, decision making, and communication skills and be detail-oriented
• Strong leadership skills
Bonus Points:
• Master’s Degree in Finance/Business-Related field
• Supply Chain Finance Experience
• CPA/CMA Certification
• Knowledge of ERP and other financial planning systems, with SAP experience
