The Opportunity
Responsibilities
• Manage and direct the day to day activities of the Integration Platform team: responsible for the development of the integrations and APIs that support the R+F systems; while understanding the roadmaps for the integrations and APIs, the deliverables include integrations and APIs delivered on time, on budget, while meeting metrics for quality and performance
• Accountable for delivery of integration and API strategy and governance across development teams.
• Lead diverse direct and leveraged technical staff; Responsible for hiring, retaining and mentoring the talent; Mentor and coach managers reporting to the position.
• Responsible to plan & manage the budget for your teams and projects; Responsible for portfolio and resource planning for your areas.
• Responsible for delivering successful projects on time, within budget, and with quality while following internal policies and procedures for application development
• Responsible for ensuring partnership and collaboration with various cross-functional teams like product management, project and program management, infrastructure, operations, quality assurance and business teams etc.
• Manage capital and expense budgets
• Manage current relationships with 3rd party technology vendors
• Provides direction and directives to direct reports in the performance of their duties, establishing work priorities, and in achieving company initiatives
Qualifications
• o A minimum of 10 years of experience in the software development, high performance enterprise systems, and extensive experience in ESB/API/SOA/Middleware technologies
◦ 5-7 years of proven leadership experience, coaching developing and engaging technology teams.
◦ Experience with ESB / API / integration platforms is a must
◦ MA/MS and BA/BS in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field strongly preferred
Communication Skills:
◦ Demonstrable presentation, written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Leadership Traits:
◦ Self-driven, passionate leader and evangelist with expertise and experience of delivering full life cycle of architecture & engineering centered projects.
◦ Expert leader at delivery and execution in multiple SDLCs.
◦ Thinker and planner – able to see potential issues and requirements ahead of time, plan and execute them.
◦ Ability to balance short term tactical decisions with long term strategic thinking
◦ Demonstrable leadership abilities in changing, ambiguous and challenging situations
◦ Experience in recruiting, hiring, and training diverse personnel focusing on high performance and professional development
Technical Skills:
◦ Experience in architecture & development of API and ESB integrations
◦ Experience in building scalable, high performing and robust integrations
◦ Experience and passion to organize a fast paced Agile environment.
◦ Experience with cloud enabled services / applications.
