Three trends have put Sonos in a unique position to fill every home with music:
1) Explosive growth of Streaming: streaming is growing in excess of 50% year-over-year. We expect over 1 billion people to be paying for streaming by 2020. And Sonos leads the way by supporting more streaming services than any other company.
2) Advent of Smart Speakers: we invented the smart speaker category, and now companies like Amazon & Google have joined us, and brought their own unique value with voice control and the ability to do additional things. Consumers are more comfortable than ever with putting an internet-connected speaker in their home.
3) Rise of the Connected Home: virtually every home in the countries we want to be is now connected with WiFi, and Consumers are seeking out devices that are connected and can make their lives easier. Sonos plays right into that trend.
What we’re looking for:
Our next phase of growth requires a change agent who will drive a transition in our Installed Solutions go-to-market approach. This leader will own the global strategy and best practices for driving Residential Installed Solutions, including installer partnerships, vertical partnerships, and crafting new ways to deliver Sonos into consumers’ homes. This leader will also be responsible for creating a new “Commercial Installed Solutions” business unit, leading a cross-functional team through the design and rollout of subscription-based sonic workplace solutions. This leader will straddle all functions, bringing together hardware, software, marketing, sales, finance and operations to drive a highly scalable, highly profitable IS model to help power Sonos’ next phase of growth. It’s also time to bring the joy of Sonos to more countries around the world – and this leader will help extend Sonos from the nine countries where we focus today, to many more over the next three years.
We are looking for proven success building a consumer brand with a world-class customer experience and a deep understanding of how that manifests itself though an entire global organization. The right leader will ensure that all channels are tightly aligned to our brand strategy.

What You’ll Do
• Expand the foundation for future growth.
• Expand and solidify our position with existing Residential IS partners
• Brief the Sonos Product team with insights for how to deepen and expand our IS share
• Define best practices for how to drive IS across the globe
• Develop new, profitable, Commercial CI offerings and roll them out across the globe
• Ensure that the company gains a reputation as a top quality, premium brand product with leading-edge technology and particularly, customer focus through its outstanding services and support
• Build, motivate and grow the team. Create a company culture that is open, fair, fun and encouraging innovations that attract top talents in the market to guarantee its long-term success.
• Form long-term, trusting and mutually beneficial partnerships with local content services providers, distributors, resellers, government officials, agencies, device manufacturers, and any other elements of the ecosystem.
• Earn customers’ trust by providing top quality products coupled with world-class services
Skills You’ll Need
• Change agent – someone that has driven a significant transformation, ideally around wholesale channels-to-direct channels and physical retail-to-digital/online retail.
• Global expansion expertise – someone that has experience bringing product brands to new countries.
• Proven leader that has managed and developed a high performing team.
• Growth driver – has found innovative ways to drive growth beyond the introduction of new products or entry into new countries.
• Metrics-driven – understands which data is important to driving the business and how to wield it.
