Job Overview
This role will lead the development and distribution of content to educate and engage employees, and to communicate critical business information and strategy to internal and external audiences.
In close collaboration with the Product Care Senior Leadership team, Global Marketing team, Sales Operations team, Regional commercial teams, and the Sealed Air Corporate Communications team, this position will help define channels, content strategy, and feedback & measurement mechanisms for communicating effectively with employees in all functions and regions and to increase rates of engagement, promote strategy retention and individual accountability, ensure successful change management, and accelerate sales enablement. This leader will also own processes and execution of critical external business communications including investor relations, M&A, and pricing.
The success of this position will be measured in employee engagement scoring, content consumption metrics, employee feedback surveys, and timely completion of critical change management initiatives.
Responsibilities
• Own and execute all internal communications for 2,000+ Product Care employees globally, including leadership communications, strategy communications, sales communications, and function (IT, HR, Customer Service, etc.) communications.
• Own and execute critical business communication cascades for internal and external audiences including those related to investor relations, mergers and acquisitions, pricing actions, and leadership transitions.
• Partner with Corporate Communications function to promote the mission, vision, values, and core competencies of the company through employer brand initiatives and through meaningful contributions to a robust calendar of internal content and storytelling.
• Collaborate with global and regional sales and marketing teams and the global sales operations team to build a new strategy for timely and effective sales communications that enable, recognize, and reward sales performance.
• Provide primary communications planning and execution support to the Product Care strategy team and Senior Leadership Team for all change management initiatives including the integration of new businesses and organizational design updates.
• Partner with Content team on leadership visibility and earned media opportunity for key Product Care leaders.
• Manage and develop a team of skilled communications and engagement professionals.
• Support Product Care Senior Leadership Team on presentation skills and materials, individual leadership communications style and strategy, and maintaining a cadence of meaningful communications to their teams.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree required
• Must be an experienced communicator with advanced writing, presentation, content creation, and editorial planning skills.
• Must be able to manage the expectations of multiple high-level stakeholders and produce consistent, high-quality outputs and results in time-sensitive situations.
• Must have experience managing projects to a specific budget, and making business case requests for budget as required.
• Experience designing communications strategies for global audiences in multiple languages and working with translation services is strongly preferred.
• Graphic design skills and familiarity with InDesign, Adobe Creative Suite, CMS web-editing programs (Drupal, SharePoint) is a plus.
