About Role
Anheuser-Busch is seeking a Director of Talent Acquisition for the US. This is a key strategic role in our People (HR) Function for the North America Zone, as this team is responsible for managing our talent pipeline and ensuring we have the right people in the right function, helping us drive results and grow our business. The Director will create and develop the strategy and execution for our critical undergraduate rotational functional internship and trainee programs, leading a team of Talent Program Managers.
This position is based in NYC, with heavy travel involved between September- November.
Main Responsibilities
• Develop talent and recruitment strategy for eight rotational internship and full-time trainee programs (Global Management, People(HR), Brewery, Logistics, Sales, Marketing, Solutions (IT), and Procurement MBA
• Be a trusted advisor to the business by establishing and maintaining strong relationships with senior management and employees and knowing the business inside and out
• Work with various functions of the business and senior c-suite leadership on developing content for trainee programs, project charters and final placements
• Benchmark university recruiting programs with other organizations to build a world-class process and experience for potential candidates
• Manage recruiting budget for the US, including forecast of future needs and recommending actions to deliver budget targets
• Manage selection tools and vendors, negotiating contracts with Taleo, CareerBuilder, LinkedIn, and other various vendors
• Oversee and delegate campus recruitment planning with Talent Program Managers, coordinators and other People and Business leaders in the organization
• Proactively provide new, creative solutions to recruiting – while also building on existing processes and methods
• BA/BS degree or higher; MBA preferred
• 5+ years of recruiting experience
• Experience managing a team and providing constructive feedback, guidance, and growth opportunities
• Proven strategic thinker and skilled at solving complex business problems (lean/six sigma or prior project management experience is a plus!)
• Strong technical experience utilizing ATS systems, sourcing and tracking tools, and Microsoft Office products
• Outstanding communicator with strong influence skills – you present ideas and recommendations in a way that gains support from the overall organization
• Outstanding relationship builder – you quickly build trusting relationships and interact effectively with all levels the organization
