Senior Director Product Marketing, IT Enterprise

As part of the IT Enterprise business organization, you will lead strategy and tactical game plans to drive revenue, market share, and profitability at retail and carrier partners. As the strategic lead for the category you will partner with product planning, consumer marketing and HQ to develop a strong category vision and game plan. You will lead development of growth driving initiatives in each retail and carrier outlet. Your partnership with sales team to build and execute promotional plans to ensure consumer awareness, adoption, and retailer/carrier prioritization of the product portfolio is key. You will also coordinate and collaborate with marketing and product planning to ensure successful product launches and sell-through initiatives to drive success. Your leadership to drive operational performance for assigned categories, including supply and financial forecasting and budgetary management, ensuring key metrics are maintained including forecast accuracy and hitting management plan targets will be pivotal. Your ability to be a visionary with strong people leadership skills will also be a high driver in success for this role.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Strategic lead for IT Enterprise categories including partnering with product planning and marketing teams to develop a strong category vision and go-to-market plan. Must be able to communicate for buy-in to senior stakeholder level individuals internally and externally.
• Accountable for revenue, market share, inventory and budget performance for assigned categories ensuring top line sales and bottom line profit performance goals are met.
• Lead operational performance for assigned categories, including supply and financial forecasting and budgetary management, ensuring key metrics are maintained including forecast accuracy and hitting management plan targets.
• Lead development and execution of IT B2B growth initiatives including:
• Partnering with sales to develop and execute channel partner programs and generate end customer demand
• Identifying new business development opportunities and develop new addressable markets with expanding product portfolios
• Product roadmap strategy and management
• Product launch and lifecycle management
• Sales partnership to ensure prioritization of initiatives
• Lead sell-in of new products to channel partners along with support from the account teams.
• Work closely with HQ product planning on innovation roadmap and portfolio strategy.
• Maintain close and frequent working relationship with SEA B2B Sales, Supply Chain and SEA marketing support to optimize sell thru initiatives.
• Establish and maintain strategic partnerships and alliances across the industry
• Regular presentations and reviews with external and internal customers to develop joint strategies and tactics for growth.
• Develop and maintain promotional, marketing development funds, and overall budget for product portfolio.
• Regularly interface with Samsung HQ key constituents to represent voice of customer in the U.S market place and to input to product launch and portfolio decisions. Responsible for gathering, analyzing, and reporting of performance on a regular basis.
• Monitor, evaluate, and report on the competitive environment. Formulate tactics to anticipate and respond to the competition.
Necessary Skills / Attributes
The Senior Director of Product Marketing , IT Enterprise will need to have excellent communication skills, demonstrated analytical and interpersonal skills. This role is based in Ridgefield Park, New Jersey. This position will require travel to customer locations, corporate HQ, trade shows, etc. requires 25% to 40% of time.
• A Bachelor's Degree in related field with a Master’s Degree in business or finance from an accredited college or university
• 15+years of related experience in sales or marketing - full P&L experience highly preferred.
• industry leadership experience highly preferred; extensive B2B experience, specifically in commercial display, smart signage, or LED products preferred
• Experience developing and leading growth initiatives in a B2B environment including promotional planning, ROI analysis, and new product introductions.
• Must be able to write, read, analyze and interpret technical product and marketing materials.
• Competitive analysis and ROI management of key growth initiatives
• Must have experience with Microsoft Standard Office Suite and extensive use of Windows presentation software to develop customer and internal presentations.
Necessary Skills and Attributes:
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams to deliver category growth and P&L performance.
• Experience with customer presentations and selling.
• Demonstrated executive acumen with the ability to influence internal and external senior level stakeholders
• Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with all appropriate levels within and outside the company.
• Demonstrates flexibility and adaptability in fast-paced work environment
• Plan, organize and prioritize multiple assignments and projects.
• Read and interpret product documents, media materials and contracts or related documents based on corporate legal and marketing standards and philosophy.
• Demonstrated competency in both oral and written communication modes for internal and external personnel at all levels, especially in sales and marketing, logistical or financial areas of both clients, prospects, and company.
