Summary
This position is responsible for the risk and operational audits over the Global Functions risk universe as well as leading our E2E SOX program. SOX responsibilities include leading the independent assurance testing of company-wide parent controls, and the full SOX reporting process from scope/approach, issue impact analysis and rating, and project management activities. This person will be the primary contact with EY and drive the continued reliance model, working very closely with the Controllership leadership team and control owners. Position also responsible for continued SOX staffing and testing program efficiencies.
Key Responsibilities
Key duties include conducting a comprehensive risk assessment process, including data analytics, prior issue trending, regulatory changes and meeting with senior management to develop an audit plan to provide assurance related to key Financial, Operational, Statutory and Strategic risks and execute to the plan in compliance with our audit life cycle. Position will establish and maintain key relationships with senior leaders in the finance, business and compliance teams and work closely with the Enterprise Risk Management team.
Role requires strong influencing skills and will provide insights and recommendations for improving compliance of key internal and operational processes. Responsible for issue action plan follow up to ensure appropriate remediation programs are implemented and working effectively. Must be able to explain and discuss potential risks, issues and opportunities with stakeholders to promote a strong compliance culture and foster a proactive, self-aware control environment. Requires strong project management skills, excellent executive communication and presentation skills and will prepare reports for the Audit Committee and Disclosure Committee.
