ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Develops a learning strategy and roadmap (includes leadership, professional and functional training) to help drive our company strategy and grow careers (from entry level and individual contributor to leadership and executive roles). Includes the development of learning paths across all functions at US Foods
• Establishes a clear brand for the US Foods Learning Institute and establishes a regular communications cadence, so that employees can easily access the right content at the right time
• Ensures US Foods’ cultural beliefs and Leadership Behaviors are the foundation of all L&D initiatives
• Develops a curriculum that is:
◦ Comprehensive – technical skill as well as leadership, management and personal/interpersonal skills
◦ Multi-Channel – experiential, classroom and online/on demand
◦ Timely – in response to or in anticipation of most critical organizational needs and priorities
• Ensures that enterprise-wide learning initiatives are aligned to close business and performance gaps, improving the effectiveness of the organization and its ability to recruit and retain a quality workforce
• Oversees the Learning Advisory Council for all functions across US Foods to support the functional Academy content
• Delivers Learning and Development programming, enrollment/tracking and reporting in a way that is user-friendly, efficient and effective
• Develops and drives relevant metrics that produce useful insights to guide our talent strategies and priorities
• Leads, manages, and develops all L&D team members
• Ensures the Learning Management System supports the needs of US Foods
• Partners with senior leaders, the HR leadership team, and HR Business Partners to understand skill requirements to enable US Foods to continue to grow
• Builds rapport and trust with key stakeholders, vendors and project teams to effectively develop, launch and measure learning impact

Qualifications
Education/Training:Master's in adult learning or related field is preferred; Bachelor's Degree required
Related Experience/Requirements:
Qualified candidates must possess a minimum of the following:
• At least 10 years progressive experience in adult learning
• At least 5 years of experience as a strategic thought leader/subject matter expert specifically in learning and development.
• Proven track record of developing an enterprise wide learning strategy
• Understands change management
• Experienced in developing learning strategies that include digital learning
• Proven track record of working in a matrix environment and is comfortable with ambiguity
• Data driven, systems thinker who can generate and execute ideas at strategic and tactical levels
• Experienced developing business cases
• Thrives in a fast‐paced environment, integrating disparate activities, new technologies, and agendas while adhering to deadlines and budgets
• Creative visionary with a passion for learning and professional development and the ability to clearly articulate ideas and concepts
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
• A proven team builder and a team player with strong relationship building skills with various stakeholders at all levels
• Instinctive collaborator with strong staff management experience who values teamwork and the input of others
• An adaptable leader who can navigate the function and organization through complex and diverse situations; comfortable with ambiguity.
