Position at Pilgrim's
Responsibilities
• Manage day to day activities with plant sales managers
◦ Train/Mentor sales managers
◦ Process Improvements
◦ Daily quality Call with Plants
◦ Ensure no pricing errors.
• Coordinate with pricing analyst
◦ RFP review – pricing, production facility, core competency alignment
◦ Identify freight/logistical opportunities
◦ Product/Customer alignment
◦ Supply/demand reviews
• Product mix analysis and implementation
◦ Sales justification if AFE is required – review with sales director for validation
◦ Quantify cost vs. benefit dollars
• Identify and analyze customer opportunities
◦ Coordinate with external sales teams, international sales, and other business units for customer strategy and implementation
◦ Key customer visits with outside and inside sales (Define the inside customers in November of each year.
◦ Communication of fundamental needs of core customers
• Best practices review
◦ Customer Service
◦ Plant Accountability
◦ Inventory targets and management
◦ Freight analysis
◦ Identify opportunities for customer and mix performance
Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree Required
• 10+ years’ experience in poultry industry
• Proven track record of utilizing data (agristats) to analyze business performance and drive strategic decisions to increase company profitability and performance
• Previous experience analyzing product mix and implementing new strategies to drive increased performance
• Experience motivating and leading teams with the result of high employee morale and performance
• Experience establishing, maintaining and improving relationships with key customers
• Sales experience a plus
