The Opportunity
We have a great opportunity for you to shape and build a strong PMO. As the Director of PMO, you will be responsible for delivering our growing and strategic technology portfolio and owning our project and delivery frameworks.
You will also partner with key stakeholders to manage the intake process of our enterprise roadmap and how to effectively plan this with our functional partners to deliver to our commitments. You will be responsible for cultivating and growing a very tactical team into a more strategy outfit with strong influencing and execution skills.
Responsibilities
• Drive and manage the delivery for our critical commerce portfolio, partnering closely with Technology and Business partners
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand their portfolio and goals and influence and evolve our approaches to achieve the right amount of oversight, process and transparency
• Achieve operational excellence in delivery and increased early warning of issues and challenges, to allow enough time to solve or mitigate
• Ensure we effectively deliver our enterprise roadmap, managing change effectively, understanding the value of the projects and ensuring the appropriate level of transparency via KPI reporting and other communications
• Reduce overhead and improve accuracy by managing annual strategy planning, budget planning and the road-mapping processes
Qualifications
• 10+ years of PMO leadership experience within a technology environment; ecommerce or direct selling experience is a plus
• Agile hybrid experience; experience extending or modifying methodologies is a plus
• Proven experience managing through organizational growth and change
• Ability to move seamlessly between strategic and tactical
• Experience managing large budgets
• Experience with PPM tools and demand planning or resource management (such as Jira)
• Proven ability to influence key decision makers
• Strong leadership, negotiation and execution skills with the ability to drive results, deliver and excel, and own it when you don't
