Position Summary:
The Director of Rewards & HR Business Planning will be responsible for managing and leading the planning, implementation and administration of the Professional division’s rewards programs that attract, retain, motivate and reward employees while ensuring internal equity, external competitiveness and governmental compliance. He/she will also support the VP, HR in HR business planning and execution of HR strategy including HR team management, organizational work force planning, country manangement team succession planning and ad hoc HR projects.
Job Responsibilities:
Rewards
• Plan and implement the organization’s reward strategy so its compensation and benefits outcomes meet current and future business needs. Align local rewards programs with global rewards and overall business strategy.
• Implement competitive local rewards plans to improve consistency throughout the organization.
• Benchmark best practices and make recommendations for changes and improvements.
• Provide and improve communications regarding local rewards plans and designs.
• Educate Pro HR team on local rewards practices and future initiatives.
• Ensure competitive pay practices are maintained throughout the organization. Provide local rewards expertise and competitive insight to Human Resources partners, client groups and business leaders.
• Participate in compensation surveys.
• Administer local rewards programs, including annual compensation review and incentive plan administration.
• Develop salary recommendations based on compensation analyses and benchmarking of roles.
• Maintain and update position descriptions, conducts job evaluations and grading.
• Conduct analysis related to cost and trends, and provide analytical data management support for measurement and tracking of key rewards HR-related metrics.
• Accurately interpret, counsel, communicate, and educate managers and staff on local rewards policies and procedures to ensure smooth operation of rewards initiatives.
• Evaluate local rewards plans related to mergers and acquisitions and the integration thereafter.
HR Business Planning
• Conduct various reporting for VP, HR including management report, management presentation slides, etc.
• Facilitate smooth communication among the HR team especially VP, HR’s direct reports.
• Support VP, HR to plan, monitor, and review the HR budget spending to ensure the proper cost management is in line with HR objectives.
• Handle ad hoc HR projects and initiatives delegated from the VP, HR.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience.
• In-depth understanding of technical applications in the rewards discipline.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex topics and interact with all levels of management and associates, including HR colleagues, Sr. Executives and Business leaders.
• Strong analytical, research and problem solving skills along with proficiency with HRIS systems, spreadsheet and database software tools – specifically ADP GlobalView, Excel, PPT and Access.
• Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and ensure excellent attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
• MBA preferred.
• CCP (Certified Compensation Professional) preferred.
