Director, Talent Management
Campbell’s is committed to developing talent with the next generation of capabilities across the organization. The Director, Talent Management is responsible for partnering with Human Resources and business leaders to drive integrated talent management and leadership development strategies, tools and processes in the disciplines of succession planning, performance management, talent assessment, learning and development strategies and coaching to develop leaders to meet the current and future business needs of Campbells.
Key Responsibilities:
The Director of Talent Management is a pivotal business partner and talent authority – ensuring we are building the best possible talent and aligning them with our business goals. This role will be responsible to develop strategies for talent management and leadership development for Campbell’s talent.
Succession Planning
and Leadership Development/Assessment:
• Develop and administer a succession planning and workforce planning process focused on building bench strength to meet current and future business needs.
• Ensure an ongoing process exists which continuously enhances the knowledge and capability of key talent to enable the organization toward achievement of strategic initiatives.
• Conduct individual leadership, career and talent assessments as appropriate using a variety of tools.
• Partner with our HRBP to lead succession planning, performance management and leader development.
• Provide coaching support to key leaders and HRBPs in the creation of robust development plans that meet succession and development needs.
• Serve as a resource to talent acquisition team and business partners in the identification of candidates for critical roles or strategic capabilities required.
• Form collaborative relationships with HRBPs and business leaders to execute talent strategies and efforts to support the growth and strategic objectives of the company.
• Research latest development in management, leadership and organizational development areas and keep abreast to serve as a subject matter expert and consult to organization regarding critical people issues.
• Develop and lead change management plans to support key talent initiatives.
• In Partnership with VP Talent Management, select, work with and effectively manage outside vendors as appropriate.
• Participate in development of customized diversity and inclusion strategies, including inclusion programs and talent development.
• Design and implement an executive leadership development program that is directly aligned to building a high-performance culture and talent for the future.
Minimum Qualifications:
• BA/BS or relevant work experience
• Minimum 10 years of Human Resources experience preferably in best in class talent acquisition environment
• Strong leadership skills and experience managing differing groups of individuals
• Results oriented and “hands on” approach, must be an independent thinker, possess strong organization skills, strong customer focus and orientation.
• Strong consultative, coaching, communication and influence skills
• Demonstrated expertise & proven success in HR and talent management
• General business acumen, demonstrated analytical and creative thinking ability
• Strong computer skills with MS Office and HRIS
• Must be organized, detail oriented, demonstrated project management skills, able to work independently and handle multiple priorities/projects simultaneously
• Must understand the talent ecosystem and how talent management aligns, integrates, and supports the full employee talent life cycle
