Director of Content Marketing, Epsilon and Conversant

At a pivotal time with new marketing leadership, Epsilon and Conversant are establishing one integrated, results-driven marketing team, which includes a new content team led by the Director of Content Marketing.
A mix of content marketing, sales support and strategic communications, the ideal candidate is a proficient writer and editor, who understands content, demand generation and inbound marketing. This individual has a passion for ‘wowing’ vs. simply settling for ‘ok and ex-pected.’
This is an entrepreneurial and managerial role in a growing team and will report directly to the Vice President, Strategic Communications.
What You’ll Be Responsible for At Epsilon and Conversant:
• You’ll have the opportunity to build a department and strategic plan from the ground up, including budget management and oversight.
• You’ll develop compelling written and visual content aligned to business objectives and designed to elevate internal and external visibility of the Epsilon and Conversant brands.
• You’ll create an approach to write, edit, source, develop and amplify a stream of thought leadership content, including video – proactively driving strategy and the formation of cross-organization relationships to accomplish goals.
• You’ll collaborate with colleagues to develop and drive strategic content communica-tions plans including the development, process, implementation and measurement of the Epsilon and Conversant content calendar.
• You will own development and content creation for client-facing newsletters, blogs, white papers, webinars, research reports, infographics, case studies, social media content, advertorials and more.
• You will manage an internal team of content specialists and tap into external free-lancers; while working closely with a talented team of internal creative staff.

And Now a Bit About What You’ve Done Before:
• You have experience managing a team across a complex, geographically dispersed, multi-disciplined organization.
• You have proven to be adept at organization and directing a path forward with min-imal direction.
• You have fantastic writing and editing skills - samples required.
• You have 10-12 years’ experience creating content for a B2B marketing organization, preferably in fast-moving marketing or advertising technology organizations.
• You have at least some design experience and, at minimum, can evaluate creative output as it pertains to marketing objectives.
• You have a bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field.
