The Digital Analytics team sits at the core of the Digital practice, along with Performance Marketing, Paid Media, and Strategy & Planning teams. Responsibilities:
• Own highly visible, integrated data projects, generate insights to optimize marketing performance, and connect measurable KPIs to business and marketing objectives to measure impact
• Partner with Performance Marketing team to drive campaign optimization and measure impact
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Strategy, Planning and Account team to identify opportunities to advance the sophistication of Edelman Digital’s Analytics capabilities across multiple clients and verticals
• Grow and mentor a team of high-performing analysts in both hard and soft skill development
• Contribute to the development and advancement of new analytics capabilities, techniques, and technology adoption to solve new business and marketing challenges
• Maintain a deep knowledge and POVs on marketing technologies, processes, and partners relevant to integrated marketing campaigns — including overseeing and/or participating in the rollout of new technologies and partnerships with key stakeholders
• Contribute to new business development and organic growth through proposal development, designing and selling specific analytics solutions, and general client consultation
• Work with limited oversight on a day-to-day basis in a fast-paced agency environment
Qualifications
• 7+ years of experience in digital, advanced analytics and research data projects with a minimum of 2 years working in an agency or consultation role
• Experience partnering with ad operations and media planning, ad-serving platforms, DMPs, website tagging (Google/DoubleClick, Floodlight, Adobe DTM), and broader marketing and ad technology landscape
• Experience overseeing the aggregation, organization, QAing and analysis of data from fragmented and / or unstructured data sources including media, social, search, email, CRM, etc.
• Proven ability to consult with, and solve, the complex business and marketing challenges facing senior stakeholders through the integrated use of data
• Ability to develop and clearly communicate and execute against measurement frameworks and data collections processes across integrated campaigns
• Deep knowledge of website analytics platforms e.g., Google Analytics and Adobe Analytics; SEO and SEM experience is a plus
• Proficient in at least one scripting/statistical language (R, Python, SQL) is a plus
• Advanced data presentation and visualization skills (Tableau, Looker, Power BI, etc.), strong communication and storytelling skills to clearly communicate insights and recommendations
• Bachelor's Degree in relevant areas of study such as Marketing, Communications, Computer Science, Applied Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or Economics is preferred
