Title: Associate Director, Digital Investment

Department – Digital Investment:
Our Digital Investment teams are critical in bringing our media plans to life. We are at the forefront of the digital marketplace. As the experts, we are tasked with driving innovation while delivering best in class media plans that drive value within the marketplace. We work in conjunction with our planning teams and are responsible for the tactical plans as well as negotiating and purchasing of digital media real estate. We are an integral part in capturing a client’s vision to reach the intended audience.
Quick Notes:
• This key role within the digital investment will primarily focus on the following Atlanta accounts: United States Marines Corp, John Deere, Orkin & gaming project work.
• This role is pivotal in driving digital leadership and expertise across clients and integrated agency teams and will be our senior agency lead in relations with media partners and platforms.
• Minimum amount of travel within this role.

Meat and Potatoes:
• Work with Mindshare’s Digital Trading Leader and Director, Digital Investment, to establish a Digital Trading center of excellence at Mindshare.
• Work with managers, senior associates and associates to help shape the offering and team construct in order to ensure it delivers for Mindshare’s client teams and most importantly, clients.
• Work with Director to ensure each account has a clear trading strategy based on client goals.
• Work with key partners and Director to drive negotiations that will benefit specific clients as well as the broader Mindshare client base.
• Coordination with all practices to ensure cohesive plan output for clients. Additionally working with an integrated team means ensuring the right connections with Planning/Strategy, specialist areas such as National Broadcast and Print, as well as specialist digital practices (Mobile, Social, Search).
• Lead via strong communication to support teams and promote superior Trading:
• Casting a wider net to support Trading staff in client team discussions around trading/buying approach, etc.
• Participating in regular Mindshare and GroupM trading meetings where appropriate
• Helping DTL and Director to communicate market intel to teams via wider GroupM channels
• Looking for opportunities that multiple brands can take advantage of, recognizing the diverse array of Mindshare clients
What you’ve already conquered:
• Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Media Tools, Donovan Data Systems & Prisma is essential
• 3rd party syndicated research resources (i.e. Comscore, Nielsen, etc.) is a plus but not required
• Bachelor’s degree, preferably with a concentration in advertising, marketing, business administration, and communications
• Minimum of seven years including strong buying experience as well as team management
• Comfortable working with budgets and numbers
• Excellent verbal and written skills
• Exceptional organizational skills, multi-tasking capabilities and detail oriented
