About BaCE
Every brand communication colors the lens through which we experience brands. This is why our advertising, brand and communication team merged with our customer satisfaction and experience team to develop the innovative approaches of BaCE (Brand & Customer Experience). We help our clients develop and evaluate brand communication, which is core to customer experiences. This provides clients with insights that are more relevant and helps them develop strategies that are more effective. Our customer-centric approach lets clients understand the brand-customer dialogue, which leads to improved advertising and brand management, generating strong emotional connections.
Position Description
The Research Director manages a team or researchers responsible for approximately 12MM of revenue. The Research Director provides senior level support and guides the team on research implementation and analysis including complex client projects. The Research Director is also involved in new business development including writing proposal responses, study design, estimating and client presentations.
Essential Duties and Responsibility
Specific Responsibilities include:
• Lead work to define and implement changes to Business Intelligence environments and research process flows as necessary to meet business and end user needs
• Ensure overall client satisfaction and manage client relationships to generate more business
• Maintain and deliver training to client teams for changes to Business Intelligence environments and/or for other emerging tools
• Serve as a career mentor, coach and direct manager for more junior staff both on projects and for general career development
• Recommend, pitch and execute market research projects across multiple research methodologies and a diverse set of clients
• Own day-to-day client account management, in addition to the day-to-day management of internal team
• Expand and maintain reports to optimize the use of data collected to provide future configuration change recommendations
• Contribute to business development efforts as necessary across both existing and new clients
• Must be able to present findings in a compelling story focused on answering key client business objectives
• Work with Redmond/Microsoft team leadership to gain the maximum benefit from Power Business Intelligence platforms and processes by recommending and implementing best practices
• Develop internal audits and controls to assure data accuracy and integrity
• Advance and maintain reports to optimize the use of data collected to provide future configuration change recommendations
Requirements
Experience and Skill:
• Undergraduate degree in marketing, social sciences, or other related field, ideally with a quantitative emphasis on statistics or research methods
• A minimum of 7-10 years within the Market Research industry
• Strong analytic skills with proven ability to contribute to methodology improvements
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and effectively work in teams.
• Must be able to identify new business opportunities including cross selling
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and analytical skills.
• Demonstrated success building trusted relationships with clients and internal teams
Education
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
