Weber Shandwick, is seeking a proven strategic analytics professional with deep experience in the latest digital media analytics & data collection tools to not only contribute, but to guide the growth of our Channel Strategy & Insights team. This position would sit on the Mediaco team, a digital division within Weber Shandwick that works across all NA offices/clients to bring additional digital expertise to a variety of client engagements.
This role will focus on providing digital analytics support to our accounts & planning teams, and helping to create the infrastructure necessary with respect to skillets, tools, and processes. Position will report to a SVP, Channel Strategy & Insights
Responsibilities
• Distill data into logical analysis, insights and actionable recommendations in straightforward and simple language
• Leverage syndicated research tools such as Simmons & Comscore in combination with social listening, and digital media software
• Partner with large, global account teams to establish KPIs, goals and insights
• Participate in new business pitch development and presentations
• Identify ways in which to measure success against campaign goals and achievable outcomes
• Develop a channel approach that solves brand communication objectives while enabling a means of analyzing channel effectiveness
• Determine methods for which to obtain that data and present the key measurements and analysis to clients as well as internal account and management staff
• Identify and participate in thought leadership opportunities to help promote the firm’s channel planning & insights capabilities
• Develop effective and persuasive presentations and memos demonstrating the value of our work for internal teams, client teams, and senior internal & external stakeholders
• Strong presentation skills
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
● A demonstrated ability to think critically, solve problems, and develop a narrative based on data driven insights and data storytelling ideally
● Minimum of 5 years of experience in an agency or consulting environment
● Solid background in using analytics tools & platforms to inform insights that direct strategies for clients
● Familiarity with digital platforms & channels with respect to how they impact a consumer decision journey.
● Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint
● Bachelors degree
Desired Qualifications:
● Experience with syndicated research tools such as Simmons and ComScore, Social Listening tools such as Sysomos and Crimson Hexagon, and data visualization tools such as Tableau and Google Data Studio
● Proficiency in advanced statistical methodologies including linear, binary and logistic regression using R, Stata, or SPSS + you dabble in programming with experience in SQL or similar.
